Open Source Developers Conference Sydney 2012

Now in its 9th year, Open Source Developers Conference is a not-for-profit conference covering all aspects of open source technology - from software and systems to open data. For the past 8 years OSDC has been held across Australia, hosting talks by leaders and luminaries of Open Source Technology.

OSDC 2012 will be held across three days, consist of three tracks and will be held at the University of Technology Sydney, Broadway Campus from the 5th to the 7th of December.

Key Note Speakers

This year we are pulling together some great Australian Talent for our Keynotes, Lisa Herrod (Accessibility), Andrew Cowie (Open Source and Business), Paul Fenwick (Perl). Our Dinner talk will be performed by Stewart Smith (The Future and Open Source). The conference will be finished up with a talk from Asya Kamsky (Writing Software that doesn't suck).


PHP Camp

This see's the third year PHPCamp has been run with OSDC.There will be a full day of talks run alongside CMS Expo Day on the 4th of December with Drinks and Nibbles in the evening.

CMS Expo Day

The conference will also host the CMS expo on the 4th of December. This day plans to showcase and discuss open source content management systems such as Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, Django, Moodle, Plone, etc
